(video) Shen Yun “is an eyeopener that needs to be shared”, says TV Vice President

NTD TV, Jan 30, 2010-

Shen Yun’s run in Florida continues. And one TV executive who saw the show in Fort Lauderdale earlier this week says the show is an eyeopener that needs to be shared. Let’s take a look.

Diane Bliss is a vice president and executive producer for the Public Broadcasting Service.
She saw Shen Yun Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and says the dancers are amazing.

[Diane Bliss, Public Broadcasting Service, Vice President]:
“I think the performance was extraordinary. The choreography and all the precision of the dancers was amazing. That was enhanced with the costuming and the props that were used.”

Ms. Bliss spoke about the difference between the female and male dancers.

[Diane Bliss, Public Broadcasting Service, Vice President]:
“The male dancers were very much more rigid, but the females were so graceful and so fluid in their movement.

The solo singers also left an impression.

[Diane Bliss, Public Broadcasting Service, Vice President]:
“The male tenor, his voice was very, very dynamic and extraordinary. And I would love to hear him in different kinds of supporting roles…I thought they were all very, very, very professional. The soprano was lovely…And then there was (a) whole new appreciation too, for the words they sang and the fact that it was displayed on the screen.”

Ms. Bliss could be back next year.

[Diane Bliss, Public Broadcasting Service, Vice President]:
“It is an eyeopener that needs to be shared and my understanding is that the audiences are growing and growing, and that those who’ve seen it one year will come back because it’s a brand new show.”
